BIOGRAPHY
The modern era of music has given way to enigmas and artists of all shapes and forms who break the
norm of what have come to expect as far as what an artist truly is. Eternally Risen is one such artist
that epitomizes the essence of the modern era. A multi-talented vocalist and born and raised in
Tampa, FL. Eternally Risen began her journey nearly over a decade ago, initially as a gospel/ Christian
rapper/poet. She is making music that is thoughtful, conscious and driven by a desire to motivate,
inspire, comfort and spread love and joy to all those that hear it.
Born Marissa Flora Anderson, she is inspired by Life, and she is a Truth Speaker. She transitioned and evolved as
a musician from her initial path in 2015 into a Conscious artist who embodies words such as
authentic and truth. It is this period of transition that allowed Eternally Risen’s creativity and
undeniable talent to shine through. She has developed a style of songwriting that is transparent,
daring and full of hope and reflective of the experiences and culture that Eternally Risen represents,
turning her pain into purpose and studio sessions into lessons.
Eternally Risen has had a vast array of musical influences however she accredits the pivotal
influences in her music to Bow Wow, Missy Elliott, Lauryn Hill, India Arie, Lisa Left Eye Lopes, Aaliyah,
Lecrae, Lil Wayne, Queen Latifah and many conscious neo soul hip hop musicians particularly in the
90's. This all culminates in Eternally Risen producing a musical experience that is enjoyable, easy
going and fun but still seeks to provoke thought. Eternally Risen uses her music as a vehicle to
express her perspectives and tell stories and express her ideas in the most impactful way. She is also
a Podcast host with two podcasts namely 3 Eyes Open Radio and The L Word: Language of a Libra.
Eternally Risen has 3 singles in her discography particularly “HealThy Being" which was followed up
by her Sophomore single "I Am Royal" and "New Beginnings". She was also recently featured in BDP
magazine as a new upcoming artist. Her latest release Channel Consciousness released on Christmas
day showcases her lyricism in a uniquely constructed piece of musical artistry. Her EP exhibits not
only her versatility and vocal prowess but will surely cement her message of the truth in love and
balance, as well as pave the way for the varied expressions of her musical ideas and artistic craft. Her
overarching ambition is to enlighten the world by raising the vibrations of all the people in the earth
with positive motivating music. This is the music that will push the boundaries of our perception as
